My linux-fu is not too strong.
I have the PMS logs on my mac. Which commands should I use in the terminal?
I’ve done all I can tonight. I’ll pick back up tomorrow.

put the zip into a directory and unzip it there.
open a terminal session
cd to that directory
grep -ir analyse .
grep -ir analysis .
The “.” is important. It means from “THIS” directory. The -r means ‘recursive’ so we get everything “from HERE down to the very bottom”
the -i means case-insensitive
AHA!
I did the first command. Nothing.
The second hit paydirt. Most of the lines say “DEBUG - Native Scanner: Executed Media Analysis stage in 0.00 sec.”
Also no segfault in the system log this morning.
Have you been adding more media for PMS to analyze ?
I added a file just this morning. I guess we’ll see what happens.
Update on my machine… No failures. Pleasantly surprised to find it there waiting for me when I opened the page.
Update with my machine. No segfault for Plex since the 18th.
Another update. Still no new segfault for Plex.
No segfaults at all
I think this has been solved, However I don’t know what exactly fixed it so I can’t mark a solution.
