PMS stop working randomly

Hello guys,

Since a year ago my plex server stop working randonmly,

Everything seems fine on my windows, but if i double click on plex tray icon it just won’t load.

it can happend 1 time every 2 months or 3 times in a week, its so random.

Yesterday it happend again arround 0:00 (GMT +1)

Can some one help to find out what happend?

Using hw transcoding with nvidia.

22byte zip. That’s about the size of it’s header. Nothing to see there.

Nothing stood out from your server logs. I would disable HW transcoding to test.

I’m scared of trying beta version for now.

Happend 2 times more since this post.

I know screenshots don’t help to much,but when it happend i need to restart the aplication.

How can I see where the problem is coming from?

Yeah. I feel your pain. Still though, there are alot of fixes for hw transcoding they may fix your issues entirely.

But, if you absolutely will not upgrade then have you tried without hw transcoding?

I tried beta version and NVIDIA hw is not working (At least for h265)

Leaving the server without hw transcoding is not an option because my cpu can’t handle all my h265 media.

As soon it fix i will try.

I needed to rollback because 1.17.0.1709 stops playbacks from clientes randomly.

Attached the last plex server log before restart the app for make it work again.

I already tried to fix it with Sqlite con windows but is not working for now.
