PMS @ Synology crash when video accessed by Android app

First time forum poster here.

I have a problem since a couple of days. I thought the most recent server update would fix this since the release notes mentioned something about crashes. However, that didn’t solve my problems. As far as I know, I haven’t made any changes somewhere except adding media to the usual libraries.

Here’s a brief description of my current problem:

When hitting play in the Android player (7.28.0.15501 (ba34f115)) the server crashes. Every time. Works fine launching the app and view libraries etc, but when the streaming starts, the server breaks.

When hitting play in Windows 10 Chrome web player, it works fine - video is streaming.

Is this a known problem? Any workarounds?
What else do you need from me to analyze? Logs of some sort?

Hmmm, this is strange. I took a deeper look.

Looks like the last episodes of season 5 of How I met your mother is the problem. :joy:
Everything else works fine from Android.

I never had this issue before, a TV show breaking the PMS. The family can live without those episodes.
Anyway, crisis averted for now. Feel free to archive this support request.
