PMS crashing/stopping when using specific client?

Hi,

After running PMS without issues for years I now have an annoying issue that I can’t seem to solve myself.

When I watch on my LG tv and also my phone (Pixel 3) I didn’t experience any problems (yet). I can watch anything on both devices at once. When I open the app on my Samsung tv upstairs however the server crashes.

Strange thing however is that it doesn’t seem to do it every time. This afternoon for example I tested it and I watched something for 10 minutes without problems. This evening I:

  • played something on LG tv and Pixel 3 --> no problem
  • opened the Samsung app --> server stops
  • restarted server
  • opened the Samsung app --> server stops
  • removed and reinstalled PMS
  • rebooted my Synology DS216+
  • was able to replicate all of the steps above, so no change

Not sure what else I can do so I hope someone can understand what is happening by looking at the logs I attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your suggestion and checking my logs.

I think I stumbled upon the actual issue though. Stupidly enough I played random files on the various devices and I think a certain show was not indexed correctly as I am able to replicate the issue on other devices playing the same episode as I did on the Samsung tv.

Recently I installed a new drive and all was indexed as it should, at least at first sight.
