Thanks you!! Turns out I had two additional inet addresses on the loopback. I removed them using ifconfig interface -alias address. So, for me I typed ifconfig lo0 -alias <ip address>. Performed the update again and now Plex 1.14 starts up just fine.
I still have two inet6 IPs on the loopback, so it appears those don’t matter.
EDIT: It appears the (Transcoder) Resolved a rare deadlock (#9332) is working great. I would notice starting a TV show on IOS would not work. I would often have to restart the show for it to begin playing. With the new update (1.14), this appears to have been resolved!
