PMS won't run on M4 Mac mini 15.7.3

Server Version#: 1.43.0.10492-121068a07
Player Version#: N/A

I have a M4 Mac mini (Mac OSx 15.7.3) that was running the Plex Media Server v.1.43.0.10492-121068a07 without any issues until I ran Tahoe Cache Cleaner maintenance scripts on 2/11/26 and cleaned the cache. Now I cannot get the server to start up at all.

I have completely removed everything Plex from the computer using the delpms.sh script and tried a fresh new install without any success. I have also tried rolling back the Media server to 1.42.1 without any success either.

I initially had the same issue when I first migrated to the M4 Mini about four months ago, and this was solved by using apple’s Migration Assistant and directly cloning from my previous PMS, which was a 2009 Mac Pro (running 10.13). In this way, I was even able to run the database (the application support folder for PMS) as a alias in the application support folder and had it pointing with a symbolic link to an external drive since my catalog was rather large. I have deleted the symbolic link and tried running the application support folder directly from the hard drive but this too has no effect.

When I do initially try to start things after a complete cleaning,

I will download the app fresh from Plex,

Open the app from the downloads folder.

It will ask me if I want to move the app to the Applications folder - I say yes (it WILL add it to the applications folder, but does NOT remove it from the downloads folder??).

PMS will open safari, ask for log-in info (which is already present?), click yes (I have also tried to log in thru a different user (but use my same credentials) and PMS will say say “successful log in” for an instant and then “initializing PMS . . .” with a spinning wheel for several minutes, then eventually fail with “Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again”.

I can see in my account of authorized devices that the server logged in properly.

If I get out of safari and come back it gives me the ‘Not Authorized” screen.

While I do a number of things, it says that the Plex media server is running, but it does not show up in the applications dock as an active application. If I do command tab, it does not show up in the list of open programs either.

Somehow, in running Tahoe Cache Cleaner and resetting permissions has royally rooked up things. I don’t even know where to go from here as I thought doing a fresh install from scratch would solve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am enclosing logs that have been generated.
