PMS won't start or shuts down immediately after start

Hi,
I’m running PMS 1.18.4 on a Mac mini mid 2011 (High Sierra 10.13.6). It has worked very well for a long time.

Yesterday I started adding a large music library which apparently worked well. However, today the PMS is not running. When trying to start it, the PMS symbol in the menu bar blinks and disappears again. It looks like it is starting and then immeditaley shutting down again.

I have restarted the Mac to see if that changed anything, but the same happened over again.

I then downloaded the PMS from Plex website over again (1.18.4.2171-ac2afe5f8), but that didn’t change anything.

Is this a known problem, or any suggestions for how to sort it out?

I am also having this issue. I am running OSX El Capitan on a Mac Mini 2011. The server has run flawlessly with this setup for years and all of a sudden I came back from a vacation and my entire library has disappeared (on the web app) and the media server will not run on the Mac Mini despite having downloaded and installing the most recent version.
