PMS_uiud Not Found

Just upgraded PMS and Plexconnect and now when I go to trailers the app loads but the content pages say no response from PMS server. In the settings at the top it says PMS_uiud Not Found. Any ideas?

Typo... should be PMS_uuid.

Could you share a log?

Same issue for me. Just upgraded plexconnect and it doesn't work anymore. I think that the problem is caused by this night update, cause yesterday I installed plexconnect and everything worked

I upgraded this morning and everything is working. I did have an issue accessing the Plexconnect.log and had to change the user permissions on the file (I’m on OSX). I also let Plexconnect create a new settings.cfg file rather than copying over the old one; not sure if that was necessary or not but since the log settings had been tweaked I thought I would create a fresh one. I am running Plexconnect via the daemon_bash file in terminal.

And wendle, you might want to upgrade your PMS to 9.8.6 which is publicly available. The version you list has issues playing RTMP streams in Plex Channels.

This issue might be caused by two things:

1) aTV is now in charge to tell us which PMS you want to connect to.

2) PlexGDM (re-)discovery is temporarily unavailable (as long as we won't have found a way to decide if it's needed...)

You should be fine doing either of the following:

- for 1) re-start from aTV main home screen

- make sure, PMS is up and running when starting PlexConnect

- do a Settings->Dicover and reselect you PMS

hit discover a couple of times and then the UUID refreshed as for the PMS version, that was what came down last night when I updated. Other than that working fine.

"Accessing Trailers" seems to be taking a little longer than usual.  Anyone else experiencing this?

i'm having the same issue, i can get to settings but nothing else http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/83210-plexapi-we-failed-to-reach-a-server-no-host-given/

i did a "discover" and it changed from "no UDID" to "PMS_from_settings", but i thinkt he issue is something else?

So I got it to wrk doing the DISCOVER method, but after a while a get no response from the server error because "Not Authorized".

Same issue with the unauthorized error after uiud refresh next to PMS in settings.

 signing out of MyPlex in the settings menu fixed it . don't know why

(actually i also deleted my ATVSettings.cfg file before running, but i dont think it was due to that. I've put it back now. I thought a new one might be created but it wasn't)

Do you know that MyPlex isn’t working yet in Plexconnect?

Signing out also fixed it for me. Why is the login there if the implementation of MyPlex is not there yet?

I had both issues after the upgrade (PMS_uuid Not Found and We failed to reach a server. Reason: Unauthorized)

I did a discover and logged out (even tho i wasn't logged in?) and it fixed both issues.

Well, you have to start at one corner, right? Also, the PMS settings "require authorization" should be working with that login...

Can anybody tell, which "user" was logged in - before you did the logout? The user should be identified on the right hand side, where you now see the ">".
