When will plex add podcast and Audio Book Support. I would like to continue to have plex manage everything I own but this is still not avalible yet 
I am quite sure they will add the support when they feel it is ready.
To encourage them you need to find the existing ten or twelve threads making requests like yours and "like" the first post in those. Creating a new thread requesting it has little, if any, effect on Plex's probability of adding features.
