I’d really, really like to have the played indicator in the podcast episodes overview to be able to see which episodes I’ve already listened to.
This is available on the web interface and Android app. Right now I have to use another app to look up my current episode whenever I want to listen to podcasts on my TV/media center.
It seems like this was just an oversight, as it’s present on other platforms. Thanks!
I’d also like podcasts to appear like TV shows - where they can be “on deck” and pressing play will automatically play the next episode. Plex knows this info already - the web app shjows an orange dot on all unplayed podcasts, but I still have to scroll (and remember) which one I last listened to, as pressing play on the main podcast will always start from ep 1.
In a long-running podcast series, when you’re on episode 30 of 210, its going to become impossible to use the feature without it remembering which one is next for me.
Of course, if the common use-case is to play podcasts “newest first” and always listen to them, then its not going to be a problem, but if you want to listen to a series (eg Welcome to Night Vale) from day 1, oldest first, then the interface really needs to look like the TV section (which works beautifully!)
