Podcasts: How to set default speed to 1.5

When playing podcasts using Plex Web I can click on the configure button and set the playback speed to 1.5. I listen to nearly all podcasts at 1.5x speed. However, when I go back to the podcast feed the speed gets set back to 1x. How to make it stick?

I think a better way to handle this is how my podcast player operates on my cell phone. It’s BeyondPod. It plays all podcasts at the “current speed” or “last set speed”. Optionally you can configure individual podcast feeds as playing on a different speed. So for music related podcasts, I set the speed of that individual podcast at 1x but then play all others at 1.5.
