I am unable to get any podcasts to play via the 7.10.0.8636 mobile app. It pulls them up, but then either errors out saying unable to play media or just constantly tries to buffer. I’ve tried new podcasts as well as a few I’ve listened to prior. They play just fine on web browser and older versions of Plex for android.

I was able to get them to play by first downloading them. After downloading it lets you listen, then you can delete. Not ideal, but it works for me for the time being. Last night I was able to confirm that podcasts work on the Android TV side of the app version 7.10.0.8636. The issue only seems to be affecting the mobile side of the app.
