I'm not sure that this topic covers it, but the ability to transcode encrypted live HLS streams for all platforms would be most welcome! This seems to be supported via iOS, and used to work with Roku and Android, but recently that isn't the case any longer.

BTW: I think that most if not all people know by now that +1 is not the same as pressing the "like" button on the original post (counting by the number of likes ;-). I think I'm missing something here, Plex already supports TS with H264 and AAC audio. I am utilizing it for the TabloTV channel for plex and we can playback live tv without issue.
