All Samsung Tizen smart TVs over the last 5 years or so use the same interface design, with a Smart Hub bar that pops up from the bottom of the screen where you can add app shortcuts. When you move over an app shortcut with your cursor, another bar pops up above the Hub with a row of thumbnail shortcuts that the app can dynamically display. It’s called the Smart Hub Preview:
and all of the standard major streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, HBO, etc., and many minor apps such CuriosityStream etc. support the feature - it’s the same thing as the Android TV “channels” for apps on the Android home screen.
Plex does not support this feature, even though it does support the Android TV “channels” feature which is functionally identical. Supporting this would make life easier for every single Plex user on the Tizen platform.
