I just got ATT Fiber service with the BGW210-700 router running Software Version 1.9.16. My Plex server is set up to use port 16779 for external connections.
I have the router set up as follows. Under NAT/Gaming, Select “Custom Services”:
Create a new service entry:
Then click Add. It should show up in the service list above.
Click “Return to NAT/Gaming”
Under application hosting entry:
Click “Add” and it should show up in your Hosted Applications table:
Worked like a charm. I did not have to clear the NAT table. However, that makes sense if there was an attempt in the past to translate to a different port. Not sure of the timeout that is set for the NAT table.
