I have a router that allow me to select the services I want to forward. UDP, HTTP, HTTPS etc. I can also just set it to “any” and of course, then it works… however I’m interested to know which service(s) are used in order to limit exposure on my computer running Plex Media Server. Outbound all ports are open, which is standard, if anyone has advise which ones I can close, that would be great.
Plex requires TCP. When you create a port forward rule, select only the TCP protocol.
