I’m trying to port forward my plex. I’ve followed the instructions on plex and watched youtube videos on how to do it. But its not working, maybe I’m doing something wrong. can someone help please???
What steps have you done?
If possible get a screen capture of your router setup and also the Server/Remote Access page and post them here.

Here IS The Picture You wanted
“PROT” should be both TCP and UDP. If you can’t select both, add another forward for UDP. It can take many minutes to activate external connectivity so be patient.
I did both still not working
UDP is unnecessary, Plex only uses TCP for the connection.
Have you verified with http://canyouseeme.org/ that the port is open? Based on those screenshots I don’t see anything out of order however. Have you tried a reboot of the router since the settings were done?
You should probably blur our your external IP address (IPv4 & IPv6 in several images) and MAC addresses.
Also, have you tried an external port other than 32400? I had issues using 32400…don’t know why but when I set it to something else, it was fine.

@adamskoog I was never able to get mine to work without both protocols. I’ll try to only allow TCP again. Good to know.
@shedman214 Do you have a local firewall or A/V that could be blocking as well? Just a thought.
search windows firewall in cortana (or the control panel), go to advanced and select add “NEW RULE”
select port forward and add plex 32400 port
