I installed plex on my son’s tablet and made on his user account his home screen with only kids movies.
But when i open plex it first gives the option to select user. So my account and his.
Is it possible to let plex open his account directly?
Switch to your user account.
Then enter the preferences of the plex app and activate “Automatic Logon”.
Then switch back to your son’s user.

Any way to remove the start/home tab so it always opens with certain library?
No, the home page cannot be removed.
However, you can customize which libraries are appearing by default in the library selector.
If you restrict this to a single library, all the items on the home page will also be only from this one library.
(“Automatic Home” needs to be activated)
