I have searched old threads but I cannot find an answer.

I have several movies that the Poster Art is not showing up so I wanted to assign it a poster. Before, I could view the entire Library and go through the movies and select the “edit” (pencil) button and change the poster art of the movie.

Now when I select a Library and seeing every movie, the only options are “Play” and the “More” menu. There is no edit function. This is what the Plex website states to do, but it is missing.

If I go to my homepage, start in the “Discover” section and select the library from the TOP menu I get a list of sub-filters such as “Recently viewed movies”. I can edit them from here, but I cannot see them all, just only these sub-filter choices.

Any help would be appreciated!

If the ‘edit’ function is missing, you are not logged in to the Plex Web client with the same plex account like your server is using.
Since only the server ‘owner’ is allowed to make changes, you need to authenticate yourself as the server owner - by using the same user credentials.

If you are using a Plex Home, you must use the admin account, not that of one of your ‘managed users’.
