I just completed a forced library update and all my posters have been changed from folders on my hard drive (local content) to posters from the internet that are horrible and most are a frame from the movie.
The library/advance Use local assets is ticked. Rescanning or refresh metadata dose not use my local poster jpg’s.
Thanks, taking a quick look and it appears the posters are being detected.
I noticed that these are also mp4 files that have embedded images, are you maybe seeing those and not online versions?
What do these posters look like, could you show a few examples?

All music, Audiobooks, TV are showing mostly correct. I am happy with them.
The movie and new movies folders is mostly wrong and are the ones giving me problems.

Yes, those movie posters are most definitely the embedded images from your mp4 files.
Do you have “Prefer local metadata” enabled on the library? If so, try disabling that and refreshing the metadata for a few of those items and see if it changes.
