Hello, I am having a very strange issue with posters disappearing after browsing and selecting a few TV shows or Movies. This issue started happening a couple of months back. I am able to replicate this problem very easily, sometimes this causes a crash, or I have to force stop the application to get the posters back. I am running Android TV on a Hisense U6G. Help would be greatly appreciated, If I need to provide more information I will happily do so, I just want to solve this problem. This is the only client this happens on: Roku, windows, web, and xbox have all been tested.
EDIT: This consistently happens when I have selected 11-12 movies or TV shows
I REALLY want a solution to this!
My library has done this since I’ve been using Plex, it not only loses the posters & backgrounds, it also loses the information I’ve types in & saved.
For a small library (^100 Movies) this isn’t a major issue, but when your talking about several thousand movies in a constantly growing library is a serious pain in the butt.
This issue and the removal of grid view has pretty much ruined this program. I don’t know how to fix the issue or even what causes it, I wish I did.
Plex doesn’t offer bug reporting (which is what this is) & I don’t honestly believe they read any of these post or even care about the satisfaction of their customers.
Just my opinion.
I gave up and went out to buy a shield tv pro. I’m super annoyed that I had to go out and buy a $200 device to remedy this issue. Please fix this for other people.
