Since last or maybe previous update, when adding a movie or a tv show to plex the language of the poster is not the one that is selected in the Librairie setting.
Here are the settings that I never changed since 6 years and gave me :
Movie descrition in French
Movie Titles and Posters in original languages
The result is now this :
Title : Original (following the settings)
Poster : in french (not following the settings)
Before the update the result was this :
as expected
This sounds similiar to this issue: Why does Plex change the posters to the region of the country I come from?
Could you double check your Prefer Artwork based on library language setting? The Use Original Title setting should only affect the title not the artwork.
It is unchecked :
When checked it was choosing french poster because the language librairie is set to french .
Leaving it unchecked made plex apply poster languages as the titles languages.
This behaviour changed since the last or the previous update.
I beleive it is because of the new Plex Experience logo titles that also doesn’t follow the language’s titles.
