I use the “Folders” access system rather than “Grid”, primarily because my folder structure (especially for music) is more comolex, with for folder levels than “Grid” seems to allow. Moreover, the various media search engines that PLEX uses simply cannot find suitable icons. Most of what the process finds are wrong, so I prefer not to use “Grid” at all.
I am very appreciative of the upgraded PLEX client apps that Imuse on my Roku Streaming Stick for my large TVs. It seems to make it far easier for me to set it up for “Folder” access. I can only hope the iOS app will soon be upgraded in a similar way.
My question is this: Is it possible to insert my own “home-made” poster or tile images into the grey ‘Folder” block? By this, I would see my own images rather than just the plain grey folder icons.
If it is possible, what is the image file naming protocol, and what are the aspect ratio and resolution considerations, and where do I place the image file?
