Hi, i am working on porting my XBMC addon for iTBN.org to plex, it is working for the clients I have available to me, but because I don't have a Roku, Google TV, etc... i am unable to test on those platforms. I would greatly appreciate input and suggestions.
Since I have a Roku, I figured I would test this for you. It doesn't work in Roku, it actually creates two channels and kicks me out of Plex when I try to open it. It gives no errors in the logs.
I am thinking you may want to post this (or have one of the Admin guys move this) in the Channel Development section of the forums (https://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/forum/42-channel-development/) while you are still testing it and resolving issues. It is a better place, since you will most likely still be having discussions about coding and client interactions at this stage. Since this section is more for the end user, having development type discussions here can be confusing to those end users.
And the people who follow that section can usually give you more insight when testing, since they understand your code.
Thanks for the input shopgirl284 , sorry about the bug where it creates two channels. A change that i made just before posting caused that and it is updated now. If you could try it again in Roku to see if that was the problem or if it still doesn't work.
Also I see what you are saying about moving this to the channel dev forums. If a Admin sees this and thinks it would fit better on the Channel Dev forum feel free to move it. Otherwise i will just repost there also.
Channel loads no problems. Played several videos Recent, Categories, Programs, and Movies. All played without a problem.

Thanks deadringer. Glad to hear it works on Google TV. One thing you didn’t mention, does the search function work fine? That is if the search function is available on Google TV.
