I think I should be able to force a pre-roll video to any client that supports them. And they should extend to managed users and invited users.

I would suggest a simple web page you point your users to that state server unavailable from 2am to 8am daily. for your case but I can see your point too

Quite literally no harm at all done in enabling this feature, I don’t understand why they’re so against it. +1 pre-roll is absolutely useless if we can’t force it on our servers users if we want to.

+1 for forced pre rolls or at least on by default. I am for any forced settings from the server side to its clients. It is how it should be.
