YouTube has this really cool feature where, if you’re playing a video at normal 1x speed, if you press and hold on the screen it’ll play at 2x speed until you take your finger off. It’ll do the audio at 2x too. It’s a super awesome feature. I would love to see the iOS Plex app add this. I know you can go into the settings to play the video at 2x but that’s permanent. Sometimes we want to watch something at normal 1x but some scenes we want to skip through faster at 2x.
Even better if we can customize the press and hold speed (like 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x, 2.25x, 2.5x etc.).
