As I manage my own array of plex servers (3 servers) that I share with other users, it would be awesome if Plex had the ability to prioritize which plex server each user was assigned to.
For example: I could set user 1 to use Server 1, but if server 1 goes down, they automatically switch to server 2, then 3 and so forth. This would really alleviate people telling me my server is down when it’s usually down for maintenance and they just don’t realize they need to switch to server 2 or 3.
Even for me, sometimes my desired server is down when I get home, usually due to a windows update, and rather than fixing it immediately I’d rather just have plex push me to the next server so I can watch my content and then fix it later. Because I’m lazy of course.
