Problem starting playback

Hi everyone my wife and I have a problem on our Samsung S21.
We are both experiencing problem starting the playback, we can access everything fine but when we select the series or the movie and hit play it just loads nothing appened, if we close the file and tryes som more time it will finally work and the series/movie plays fine.

I can’t see anything on the server when this happens almost seems to be a client issue not connection correctly to the server to start the playback

The same occurs when we are on the home-network or way (different Wifi or 4G), no difference when the playback has started everything works fine

Confirming same issue with any media tested. I see a momentary spike of bandwidth on the dashboard, but nothing plays.

Also unable to download media to my phone.

Cleared app data and reauthenticated.

Same phone same problem, however, if I use an external player (VLC Player) it seems to work fine.

Seems that the android beta app (Plex beta 8.29.0.30247) is working better, anyone that can confirm this?

Confirmed working better for me.
Retested with 8.28.0.30077: failed to play/download media via local WiFi or mobile
Updated to Plex beta 8.29.0.30247 via Google Play beta channel: media playback works via local WiFi and mobile, download only works on mobile.

Good enough for my typical usage.

Additional info: Local network running dual stack - IPv4 and ISP assigned IPv6 prefix. Mobile provider is native IPv6
