Thanks, everything regarding Metadata seems to work now! Maybe I was unpatient but I had to unmatch and rematch some “affected” shows otherwise it wouldn’t pull any new metadata (waited ~10 minutes). Now that it’s fixed, my currently watched series finally show up on Deck again

It also seems like the “Recently added” bug where you added a show with 50+ episodes and the whole list gets wiped is fixed.

I think i’ll stay on pre version 1 for a little while and see what comes of the latest version first…
It seems to be working.
Now, i need to check all my episodes to reassign those that have wrong pairs with thetvdb, or are not associated at all.
That means a bit of work with 15k+ episodes…
fixed for me on new public release. just needed to re-asociate the missing poster tv shows. Thanks for fixing it 
Ok, I gave in and installed 1.1.3, all my issues seem to be fixed. Had to clean up a couple items, but at least it finds new owns correctly. Thanks!

So i’m on Version 1.1.4.2757 and back to the same issue with no matches for some shows and no matches when i try to match or fix and incorrect match…
@maxflix did you get things sorted with TVDB and ssl and VPN’s?
I’m going to roll back to 0.9.17.3.2239 in the meantime… and see if it works. If not, back to 0.9.16 for me…
Well, as soon as i uninstalled version 1.whatever, and installed version 0.9.17.3.2239, i clicked update library, most updated immediately, and the ones that didn’t i updated manually with results appearing in the match popup properly.
Anyone else still having TVDB and metadata issues on version 1+?

I am also on 1.1.4.2757 and also have more hits than misses when adding TV shows. Just added Extant, matched the series and pulled series and season info but no episode matches at all. Checked the episodes for metadata thinking that was the problem - nope. Tried refresh - nope. Also had trouble with lots of other new editions over the past few weeks. All my libraries are in English and I don’t use a VPN, so no complicating factors there either. Any suggestions on what I could try to get things working again?
Same issue here. I was running 1.1.4.2757, with VPN, and still having issues with metadata in the manner already well documented in this thread. I updated to the DVR beta 1.2.0.2838 but still cannot load new metadata. Tests show TVDB is reachable from the Plex server through web-browser/CLI.
This seems to have self-healed. Last night missing metadata magically appeared. Thanks Plex!
I’m just not game to waste any more time upgrading just to have to downgrade again, especially when no plex team members can even bother to post an update as to progress…
