update: i just found this thread - Udate Plex Media Server on freenas 11.1
I was able to successfully update the Plex server to the latest 1.18 release, but now i can’t get the plexmediaserver service to start in the freenas 11.1 jail anymore. I’m currently trying to find the logs to post later. Also searching other threads to see if maybe the PMS_update script put my plex data in a different location then what the pkg install did.
Either way i still have all of my data, and if worst comes to worse I may have to downgrade to get it back. But i’m sure it’s gotta be something simple. just need help tracking it down. Thanks!
Do you think i could just backup my plexdata folder, then unistall and reinstall PMS using pkg install again?
