Problem when upgrading to PlexConnect 0.5-6 (And PConnect 0.5-1 OK)

Hi Folks,

 

I'm under DSM 5.1-5021 Update 2 (Syno412+) and the latest PMS PlexMediaServer-0.9.11.7.803-87d0708-x86.spk which both work well.

 

The problem I have is with the Apple TV 3 connection. When I use the latest Plexconnect 0.5-6 the apple TV is not able to create the Profile (trying to create the profile "Trailer url etc ... - I get the error message code 107 if I remember well, URL not valid ....).

 

However, when I downgrade to plexconnect 0.5-1, it works, the profile can be created and everything is all right ! :)

I noticed that Plexconnect 0.5-1 is formally requesting the NAS IP and DNS during the installation process, and not plexconnect 0.5-6.

 

My question is - what specific parameter should be set to enable PC 0.5-6 to work with the ATV3?

(I tried many things, stop/restart PConnect PMS my rooter etc ... but the latest PConnect is never working)

If the cert does not change the you don’t need to load the profile again. Also I suggest you raise this on the synology thread as the package creator has made many comments on this issue recently (Infact you might find the answer already in that thread).

I tried to reload the profile because the ATV3 was not responding anymore with the latest PConnect. I already posted a message in the Synology forum who invited me to post a message here as well. It looks like the problem I'm referring to is not so frequent.
