Disabling HDR tone mapping works for me. most displays nowadays are HDR, and for the old ones there are that can players can handle the tone mapping
Yes, The transcode is forced because the stream is present. It’s done this way because, at any point during playback, you might want to turn them on. It would be very annoying to sit and wait for PMS to transcode the entire file to catch up to that point.
