Problem with "Match Frame Rate"

It seems there is a problem with the Match Frame Rate setting on the Apple TV 4K. In the ATV settings, I have both Match Dynamic Range and Match Frame Rate turned on. Under Format, I have it set to 1080p SDR at 60Hz. So this should be the native resolution and frame rate for menus and everything happening on the Apple TV.

When I go into Plex and start playing a video, it switches the frame rate to the frame rate of the video. If I stop the video before it reaches the end, it will switch the frame rate back to the native 60Hz before taking me back to the menu. So far, so good.

The problem arises if you let the video play all the way to the end without stopping it. When Plex ends the video and goes back to the previous screen, suddenly all menu options and movement within the app is very jerky and not smooth at all.

I’m not sure if this is due to Plex not switching back to the default frame rate, or some other side effect of the frame rate switching, but in any event, the only way to get it back to normal is to force quit the Plex app, return to the home screen, and launch Plex again.

Please let me know if you need any additional testing on my end, or if there is anything else I can do to help troubleshoot this. Thanks!
