I just tried using my Plex It button on 2 different videos but was unable to do so. What do I need to do? Do I need to add another Plex It to my browser? If so please give me the link to add it once again.

They axed that feature. There was a blog post about it, which they apparently think is enough transparency for these types of drastic changes.
Pay attention, Plex. It’s not.

There was a big banner on top of this forum for several weeks.
The post is still visible in the Announcements section: Discontinuation of Plugins, Watch Later, Recommended, and Cloud Sync
Also an email was sent out, announcing the changes.

And yet people are still coming here confused about why features aren’t working anymore. Consider adding announcements regarding feature changes to clients where everyone is guaranteed to receive them.

For me an email and a blog post and the announcement on the forums and the responses to posts here is PLENTY of info. There is no good reason to clutter up clients with extraneous and, for most people, useless messages.
I and all my friends that use Plex knew that Plex it was done within a day of the announcement and many of my friends are not much more than minimally “connected.”
Actually I do know of one person that is a friend of one of my friends that failed to notice the loss. Her issue was that she was too connected in that the email and other notices got lost in the “noise” of her connected life.
But those kind of problems are not Plex’s issue and Plex does not need to add any more to the noise of the internet just to be sure everyone sees announcements that are not hidden in any way and are already pretty prominent.

True, but for most that equates to just an email.
Unless we have forgotten what we have been told many times… Forum users are a very tiny fraction of Plex users.

True but really an email is enough for that sort of thing. It is not Plex’s fault that many people do not read their emails much.
I think that there were also some social media posts about that but I do not know for sure as I do not use anti-social media at all. I prefer to actually socialize when I socialize.
Maybe Plex could setup some robo-calls for announcements. (And require valid verified phone numbers for all users) I’m sure that would make people very happy.

Unfortunately, you can’t force people to read everything directed at them, regardless of how you choose to communicate with them.
There will always be people who “miss” announcements for whatever reasons (sometimes even because of that thing called Real Life ™). And honestly, the number of folks who have asked about Plex It and Cloud stuff has been fairly minimal.
That is too bad as I thought it was one of the better features. I do not have the time to view videos such as on Youtube so I liked to save them with that button and watch later. Also then I had the video to show my friends when they visited. I had many of my favorite old music videos that I could watch at different times. Otherwise I just forget and never get to see any of them.
