Problem with Recording Schedule

I’ve been waiting several days to see if this fixes itself somehow, but my Recording Schedule view is almost empty after tomorrow, despite the fact that I have _dozens _of movies scheduled to record in the next two weeks. Those movies still show up as being scheduled under “Movies->[by Channel]->Airing”, but they are not showing up on the actual schedule.

Note the ten movies scheduled to be recorded off Turner Classic Movies in the next couple of days, only one of which – Footlight Parade – appears on the recording schedule above.

Any idea what is happening here? And is it coincidence that the only shows still appearing on the schedule are SD TV broadcasts (mostly of our local Korean TV channels)?

What does the Plex Media Server log file show for these movies when it is running through a scheduling process?

Aha! I tried to set a recording of an upcoming episode of American Experience on PBS, and looked in the log, where it said:

Jun 03, 2018 17:12:01.153 [3772] DEBUG - DVR:Subscription: The desired channel/timeslot combination wasn’t available for ‘American Experience - Summer of Love’, ignoring.

That got me thinking that I had recently begun changing the advanced mode settings for recordings to use the specific time a movie or show was supposed to come on, rather than “Any”. Changing the specific times back to “Any” for the movies shown on that screencap above caused most of them to reappear on my schedule (but not all – The Petrified Forest, for instance, is still not showing up on my recording schedule).

Now, obviously, there’s no reason why telling it to “record that show that you say comes on PBS at 10:00 AM, on PBS at 10:00 AM” should fail, but I’ll have to circle back to that later after going through all of my recent programming efforts and reverting their specific times to “Any”

Yes I live in Columbia. Been back here since end of 93 after I got out of USAF.

On the other issue with the show on PBS at 10:00 AM. If you are specifying a specific time slot to record and are using the Minutes Before Start Time option to specify say to start recording 1 minute early there was a bug that was fixed with the 1.13.1.5063 release. Don’t see where you ever stated what PMS version you are running.

Heh. '93 is when we moved to ATL.

I’ve been sticking to the release channel rather than the Beta, so I guess that explains why that was happening, then.
