Problem with vinculation

Okay, 2012 model

Steps to follow:

  • Remove existing Plex App from your TV
    • When in Smarthub, focus with the arrow keys on your remote on the Plex app, and then press and hold down the enter key (The broken arrow)
    • A popup menu should appear, where you can delete/remove the app
  • Enter Developer mode on your TV SmartHub
  • Stop when you are logged into the SmartHub as the develop user

When done, respond back

I did that.
The plex app was deleted and I am sign in as develop

So cool

Now for the next steps:

Doing above, should install a new Plex App on your TV, and if so, launch it and wait until it ask for a proxy server, and then enter the same IP found earlier

If above does NOT happen, then you most likely didn’t stop your Windows firewall!

My tv is not like the video… I dont know where I have to write the ip address, i dont find the menu develop

Darn Samsung changed this for almost every year :frowning:

And currently no access to an E-Serie, but found this on Google:

  • On the TV, open the “Smart Hub”.
  • Select the “Apps” panel. …
  • In the “Apps” panel, enter “12345” using the remote control or the on-screen number keypad. …
  • Switch “Developer mode” to “On”.
  • Enter the IP address of the computer that you want to connect to the TV, and click “OK”.
  • Reboot the TV.

And when said, bedtime here in Denmark, so this was my last post for today

Thank you so much.
I could do that, so we can continue tomorrow.
Thank you again

Ups…I lost track of this thread, and tried to look in every thread that had the word Samsung

Should have searched for vinculation
