<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled> Having trouble with Extras…sometimes they add with NO problem, other times they won’t add at all…they’re all in folder called Featurettes in my Main movie folder. Frustrating…can anyone give me simple directions?
That is not how it’s done.
Each extra belongs to a particular movie.
There are no “global” extras which would appear together with several or even all movies.
Because of that, extras will be stored in the subfolders of their respective movies.
If you still don’t have each of your movies in its own, designated subfolder, then you need to move it once you want to add local extras to it.

hey Thanx but yes they are in EACH movies folder IE: Folder = John Doe (1972) inside folder is John Doe.MKV with a SUB folder = Featurettes…this works for 80% of all my movies…than all of a sudden i’ll add a movie with the same exact format and the extras do NOT appear
Is this a made-up title?
Is the movie as such “matched” in Plex?
Are your media files stored inside your computer, or are you using a NAS device (Synology in particular)? If the latter, see Plex Files Unavailable but they’re not missing
yes it’s a made up movie i used as an example…folder = Training Day (0000) inside folder Training Day (0000).mkv Sub Folder Featurettes…yes (0000) is a made up year lolz…
My bad i’m using a Mac with an External HD (folder = Movies)
Is the movie as such “matched” in Plex?

Yeah i’ve tried everything…I just added a new movie today, formatted same as EVERY other movie i have..the extras for that new movie added NO problem, yet 2 older movies i’ve been RE adding daily WON’T show their extras…man i’m stumped
You still haven’t answered my last question.
Yeah i’ve tried everything…as in Yes it’s matched…i’ve never had to change or alter my setting for any movie..i have over 1200 movies and they are all put into plex exactly the same…some show the extras…some don’t…it’s perPLEXing!
Which agent is selected in the properties of your library?
Did you change that sometime in the past?
While this is not exactly the same I have been unable to get my PMS Docker on Linux to “update” or “add” the proper Metadata for Movies for about 12 hours. I have restarted the container to see of that is the case. Checked to make sure it is the latest version and even tried a pull to make sure nothing was pending. Verified my TimeDate are set good on the server, and even double checked the DNS settings. All the results are positive except it will not add Metadata or even MATCH a newly added Movie.
When I attempt to the logs do not even generate output, it simply acts like nothing was attempted.
I have had this server for years running with very few issues ever, and nothing has changed on my side with the server, docker, or plex configs
Please make your own thread.
I did… this just seems to be similar but thanks for the help…
It is very much not.
