Suggestions to resolve this?

Thanks. Been using Plex server for years and never had an issue with it.

The readme has info on how to run when using Docker.

Use the Auto option.

If the db cannot be repaired, try the replace option. It will check the backup versions and restore the most recent one that is not corrupt.

Couldnt repair or replace database. Looks like i am gonna have to start over. Any idea on how to delete the database and start over?

I had the same problem with 1.40.3 today (linuxserver:plex updated overnight). Going back to 1.40.2 without doing anything to the database files works. If you can go back to 1.40.2 in unraid, try that before restarting from scratch. I believe there is something wrong with the DB migration between 1.40.2 and 1.40.3 which is causing our issue. I will wait until the next release before leaving 1.40.2.

(I also attempted to go to both plex created backups and to my own backups of the DB files but they all reported the same database malformed error which–to me–points more heavily that the 1.40.3 migration process is borked on my platform. Tried DBRepair as well before finally giving up and going back to the image for 1.40.2)

How do i go back a version?

Your logs indicated unraid, so I do not know. I use docker directly on ubuntu so I just changed my docker-compose.yml file to pull the image for 1.40.2 versus latest.

I use the linuxserver image, so in my docker-compose.yml, I went from

image: linuxserver/plex:latest
to
image: linuxserver/plex:1.40.2

and then recreated the docker image with “docker-compose up --force-recreate --build -d”

but with unraid and whichever docker image you are using, it will be different so please explore how to do it under your environment.

Thanks. I think i figured it out.

Version = 1.40.2.8395-c67dce28e

Downgraded docker image and still a no go. Guess i’ll be rebuilding a 100tb media collection database :frowning:

Sorry to hear that.
