Problems logging in to forums.plex.tv

I have a managed user under my account and that’s actually the user I use to watch my content uncluttered by libraries for relatives, friends, etc.

However, logging into forums fails if the managed user is the currently active user in the same browser at app.plex.tv. The forums page shows the prompt for login/password first time, but then fails to login and the subsequent attempts to click the login button just brings you back to the same forums page. The work-around is to go to app.plex.tv first, then select the admin user and only then to come back to the forums.

This is a major inconvenience, please fix it.

Because of Plex using Single Sign On (SSO), this is side affect that can’t be avoided.

Sure it can be avoided and precisely because of the SSO. Managed user is under the same account, if the login under managed user is detected to a “privileged” site, prompt me to switch from managed user to principal account.

I expected a better reply to this than just PFO.

Sorry, I mis-read the part above. There was a bug where the login was redirecting to the wrong spot. This should now be fixed. Please try again.
