I’ve been using plex for a while now and just realized I’ve been doing something wrong. My OS system is of course on a SSD (NVME drive to be exact) and that where I assumed my plex meta data was, as that’s where plex is installed. The metadata loads and scrolls choppier than I figured it should with the speed of the drive and power of the computer it’s all on. So I realized yesterday that my plex metadata is actually stored on my storage drive, the one I have my user folder pointed to to store all my personal files. It looks like Mac OSX has a ‘library’ folder on both the OS drive and the drive that the user folder in on…and plex is saving metadata to the latter. I see no option in my server to change the location. What are my options here as I want the metadata on an SSD?
