I just signed up for the Plex Pass and started to use Plex Cloud and have now tried to use the Plex Media server with Apps from different devices (PC, smartphone, Apple TV, Android TV app). On all devices, it works very well to play music and movies in Plex Cloud directly from Google Drive. However, the pictures I have stored on Google Drive are not displayed properly. When I open them, I just get a black screen. It does not seem to be a problem with the file format, resolution or file size since when I instead use my computer as source (to which I have some of the same drive folders synced), I can view the pictures and they show up fine in Plex with thumbnails. If anyone has encountered a similar problem or may know why this problem occurs, it would be very helpful to know.
I am having the same problem with my pictures linked to my google drive and Plex cloud. It was working and then one day in December it stopped and I get “Unable to load” on all my players. Same pictures on a local server work fine.
