Profiles Folder

Server Version#: Version 1.19.3.2764
Player Version#:

Where is the profiles folder located? I can’t seem to find it in /mnt/C/iocage/jails/plexmediaserver/root/Plex Media Server which is where it use to be

I suppose this is about FreeNas?!
Best check out the location of the Plex Media Server data folder for your platform in the related support article:
https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/

FreeNAS

FreeNAS 11.2 or earlier

${JAIL_ROOT}/var/db/plexdata/Plex Media Server/

FreeNAS 11.3 or newer

${JAIL_ROOT}/Plex Media Server/

I’ve checked but it’s just gone

on my Linux install, the profiles folder is under /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Resources/Profiles/

It is a FreeNas install 11.3, I don’t have any plex files under /usr/lib

I even checked with SSH and no resources folder.

Are you looking for the system profiles or users override?

The dir you mentioned is where the “application support dir” os pointed to, meaning where your plex user data lives. You can create a Profiles directory inside and then create your own profiles ( or copy existing ones from the installation directory and adapt).

Usually on BSD 3rd party software is installed to /usr/local/share/

Thank you! /usr/local/share/ is what I was looking for.
