PS3 Plex app no sound in rear right speaker

Hello All

When using the PS3 Plex app to play ANY videos I get no sound in the rear right speaker (I get sound through the other speakers just fine). Everything works when I play the same video using the default PS3 video player (through the Plex DLNA server) so I’m thinking it must be something with the app?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Oh I should mention that I am using optical out from the PS3 to my decoder.

Interesting, I have the same exact problem. I am using a PS3 Slim, connected to my Onkyo receiver via HDMI. Sound works fine with internal receiver testing and with other 5.1 movies.

Try to Activate AC-3 in Plex App settings on PS. That fixed the problem for me.
