Looking at the forum posts here about the PlayStation app, it seemed to have a load of issues when released and your paying customers were used as beta testers to find the bugs.

Looking at the forum posts here about the PlayStation app, it seemed to have a load of issues when released and your paying customers were used as beta testers to find the bugs.
Plexpass users get the possibility to try out the PS and XB app way before the release date, while the app is in development. When the app is completed it will be sold separately from Plexpass. But at the moment the app is not complete, and it is hard to tell when it will be complete. The devs might very well have milestones in place, but Plex Inc. never comments on release dates for such things.
I agree with Joebaker. It has been out for a long time, and they have written om their Google Play app page that it will soon be released. How long time is “soon”? As I write, it has been written soon for a long time. It should stand something like " November 15", I bought this software due to the PS4 app, but I am not willing to subscribe for my own data.

Soon™ = As soon as all show-stopping bugs AND important features have been added to the app.
