PS4 app not working

hi guys, looking for help. My server is working etc, but the app on PS4 does not work. I open it and get the splash screen, then a black screen for a few minutes before a not working type message.


Any ideas as to what is going on ?

That does sound like something that would happen if your internet connection is not working correctly. Did you have a working internet connection when this manifested itself?

Yes it's connected by cable direct to the router so i know that there is a connection. I'll get on it when home and check what error message appears

No I meant to your ISP. Next time this happens, double check that you can surf the web. But I suspect that you are telling me that the PS4 app never starts up anymore. And as you can write posts in here I suspect you have a working internet connection :)

I've checked the remote access and it's failing on the remote option so it looks like my router has changed its settings, will sort that you again and see if that sorts it out.
