PS4 App won't load past 'Restore Default Home Screen'

Server Version#:1.16.5.1488
Player Version#:2.00 on PS4 (4.1.1 on Authorised Devices)

Appears since this afternoon there may have been an update as the PS4 indicates there was a Update at 14.48 today. Now the app won’t start, keeps getting stuck on ‘Personalize Your Home Screen’

When you can finally select ‘Restore Default Home Screen’ it goes to a loading screen ‘spinning wheel’ then returns to the Personalize Your Home Screen.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Hello. I have exactly the same problem. I restart the PS4 but nothing, always the same freeze at the “Personalize Your Home Screen”. Hope that they will fix it very soon with an update.

I had the same issue.
Try to go in web client settings - network and set the secure connections on ‘disabled’. Mine started working again this way (I did it right now).

I have just tried the suggestion above and it works when Secure Connections is ‘Disabled’ the only problem with that is then other apps wont connect especially anything in on IOS.

I’m sure this needs a fix on the PS4 app or the Server.

Mine has the same problem. If it’s not fixed very soon I won’t be paying any more. I’m gutted at the lack of customer support. Not even web chat
