The Harmony Hub remote can act as a PS4 keyboard and control most functions of the PS4. Plex does not appear to recognize the inputs from the remote. Other apps are able to accept inputs from the remote. I would like to request support for the Harmony remote in the Plex app for PS4.
I would also like this. I feel like the Christmas present I bought for my girlfriend is useless. I guess it will be returned.

I just got a Harmony Home Hub with remote as well for my Xbox One and it took me a long time but it works great. Lots of reprogramming buttons though and sequences of commands to arrow down, hit OK etc. to automate things in Plex. As far as I can tell it is the Xbox that interfaces with the remote though. In my search for setting things up, PS4, I believe, wasn’t supported with at least my remote. Yours might be different I suppose.
It took a while but Harmony now supports the PS4. Most apps play right. Unfortunately Plex does not. It’s not a matter of reprogramming. Hopefully they get it fixed soon. I have a few more weeks until I’ll be returning it. But if it comes to that I will also be cancelling Plex.

Should be fixed. It works is using TV remote to send commands back through the HDMI, but changing to BT does not work, which is kinda counterintuitive. Works flawlessly in Netflix, so definitely doable.
+1 for this post. Logitech Harmony Hub connects to PS4, all other apps respond to input from the remote. Only Plex app not supporting the Harmony seems like a major over sight. Please fix!

Can we get some kind of acknowledgement from the dev team please??? Seems like a simple implementation, correct me if I’m wrong?
Using Plex on the PS4 was the main reason why I just bought a Logitech Harmony Hub, and now I find out Plex doesn’t even support the remote… This is why I don’t pay for a lifetime Plex Pass, so I can cancel it when the dev team ignores the paying users.
Why has there been not a single response from the Devs in almost a year? This is a basic feature that we would all expect. Im a lifetime plex member and expect better. Please can we get some acknowledgement? Or ever better, just implement it already.

Haha okay buddy. Simply asking that the request be acknowledged, sorry if that’s too much for your juvenile brain to handle. Do you need a hug? Furthermore I said nothing about prioritization. This would be rather low priority in the grand scheme of things as I’m sure everyone would agree with. Go back to being a big man on the Internet as I’m sure your real life is lacking. 
Stumbled into the problem. Just adding another voice asking for it at least recognition of the issue and having it added to the roadmap.
Bump to the top, same here. Plex is the only app that suffers this issue with the Harmony remote (connected to the PS4 as a HID bluetooth keyboard).
