PS4 movie play lag

Hi everyone,
I am unsure if anyone else is having this issue… but i have installed Plex app on my PS4 and it’s really lagging… can’t watch a movie properly,

My plex server runs on a QNAP NAS and other devices have no issues playing the streaming over wifi. So i doubt the wifi is the issue… especially signal is very strong as the PS4 and router are close enough…

Is there anysettings i should be checking ? Files played are “mainly” x.264 files in 720p quality… not even 1080p… :wink:

If you could post the media information that will help. Also when you are playing a film are you able to look at the “Activity” view on the server to see whether the film is being DirectPlayed, DirectStreamed or Transcoded? If not a set of server logs (with debug loging enabled on the server) so we can look at this for you would help.
