Is there anyway to just get the version for Fire TV to install on PS4?

I canā€™t get my Harmony Ultimate to control Plex in PS4 which was the reason I bought it, can you tell me what the issue is?

Any chance for an update where we can choose the subtitle offset / subtitle delay?

Speaking of updates, do you have any in the pipeline for PS4 and are able to speak a little about them? Itā€™s very frustrating to see many other devices get updates while the PS4 (which is my primary Plex consumption box) lags behind.

Still silence on this issue. Every time I get a Plex newsletter letting me know that theyā€™ve updated the Xbox client yet AGAIN or added VR support for another device, it just pushes me further and further from Plex.

Sat waiting, as other commenters have mentioned, for a PS4 update to Plex - my primary viewing device. So far behind all the other Plex players its just lame. Disappointing, nearly a year since the last update which also took a year.

Plex App on PS4 Pro is not able to properly play any content higher than 720p while the PS4 still can.

Please Plex Team, bring your App up to speed!

New update (finally). But does it resolve any of the major issues? Proper PS4 Pro support yet?

Anyine tested the Ps4 LPCM -> hdmi to sony bravia (2017) -> optical to receiver method?

I am not inerested in hd audio passtrough but that a dts hd master audio dolby atmos is transcoded to a very high quality LPCM track in 5.1ā€¦

I am almost offended with how infrequent the updates are for Plex on PS4. Wasnā€™t the PS4 the original game console platform Plex supported? Now Xbox is getting all these fancy upgrades. Maybe there is more of a reason behind the scenes why I donā€™t see any improvements in the app. The app is always slow too. I donā€™t know. Just super disappointed as a long time Plex supporter.

I just wanted to pop in to say that weā€™re sorry for the frustrations some of you are having with the app, but the PS4 app has not been abandoned and we are actively working on updates for the app.

Thank you for the information.
Did you know that for a PS4 (my PS4 anyway - in Australia), if you sign in to Plex in one user profile, it uses that Plex login across all user profiles while using the PS4?
