The player no longer works, it just freezes every 15 seconds and has trouble loading the dashboard. I can’t view my own plex cloud movies either on my PS4, please assist me in diagnosing the issue.

Since the update I’m having an issue where MP4 files that use AC3 will not play audio. These same files worked perfectly before the update.
Also, I’m having an issue using a Logitech harmony remote to contol the ps4 app. The circle button on the harmony remote does not register with the app, and I cannot back out of any menus. In the old version of the ps4 app there was an x button at the top of each menu that could be used to get out of the menu. However, now the only way to exit a menu is to press the circle button on the remote, which does not work.

Just updated plex on ps4 and nothing works. It starts playing movie like by jumping in 30 seconds increments like I’m playing it on fast forward. It also took me 5 tries to login with code. It’s literally unusable. On the web and google chromecast it works fine, but unable to play anything on ps4. Also new option to cast to ps4 from web…well, it just does nothing, it doesn’t work 
Plex version: 3.74 (1.05). Media format: H264. System PS4 Pro, system software v6.02

all i can say is, thank god there are others that done like the new update.
Hi all. 3.74.1 was just pushed out that should fix the AC3 audio track issue, along with another issue rendering some Asian characters.
Hi I find plugins but can’t get live tv to work Is there any fix for this?
I’m having the exact same problem. No IPTV.
I think there must be a way to get back to the old version of plex before update and hope someone can let me know on here if possible?
The new UI is terrible. Is there a way to revert to something that works?

Thanks Moussa! The mp4 with ac3 audio issue has been addressed and works perfectly now. Thanks for the quick response! I love this app.
Is there a possibility that the issue with the harmony hub can be addressed? i. e. The circle button does not work with the plex app and you can’t back out of any settings menus. At a minimum if you could implement an “X” button in the top right of the menu this would work as well.

Thank you perhaps the server I was trying to stream from was having issues which is why the player was not working. That being said the UI is very slow when switching through the shows in a tv show category.
If it ain’t broken why is plex dev changing it… Are they bored?? Man change it back it was cleaner and more appealing. Now it looks like trash.

Does anyone know if you can revert back to previous version as I still can’t play live tv on my ps4 since update. Or dies anyone have a fix for this. Thanks

I just got identical error messages from 3 users and that the app doesn’t start anymore. It just looks like on the picture. All have already completely deleted the app and reinstalled it, without success.
Please help us what we can still try.
I have installed the newest server.

I can confirm that i got same problem is Thomy22. It just keeps spinning but don’t load. I have tried TOTALLY formatting the console and still it does the same. The first time you login after installation it works fine, but after closing and reopening, that problem comes and persist

Does anyone know how to delete a show in v. 3.74.1?
not only NOTHING works, but the UI is AWFUL!
i cant find anything, its slower and harder to use…
might just go back to just plain old hard drives…
i thought the only bad decision made was ending plex cloud… but i think this is worse.

Had the same issue when this was “early access.” The app doesn’t seem to resume from standby at all.
